Lāčplēša iela 21 (1910.)

Architect: Rūdolfs Fīlips Donbergs

Apartment house with shops owned by of Mary Graf, created by an architect Rudolpf Philipp Dohnberg. The artistic perspective of this building approximates National Romanticism and is reminiscent of buildings designed by Eižens Laube and Ernests Pole at Ģertrūdes iela 23, Lāčplēša iela 70 and 70b and Aleksandra Čaka iela 67/69. Where it differs is in its cylindrically shaped turret. The reliefs on the ground floor are oval shaped and made from individual poured cement moulds. Their ornaments are stylizations of textiles and jewelry motifs. Fragments of a panel of splendid ceramic tiles have survived in the lobby.
