The Holy Trinity Cathedral

30.04.—07.05.2021.

The Holy Trinity Cathedral was built in 1902-1907 to the design of architect K. Peksens (in collaboration with A. Vanags). The Cathedral's central iconostasis made in 1903 by design of V. Kosjakov in woodcarving and gold-plating workshop of P. Abrosimov (St. Petersburg). The lower church (crypt) of the Cathedral, the Church of the Dormition of Our Most Holy Lady, was designed by St. Petersburg artist A. Barishnikov and built in 1912. Next to The Holy Trinity Cathedral is located The Holy Trinity-Sergija Convent, founded in 1892.
