Within its promotional activities of the Art Nouveau heritage of Europe the Art Nouveau Centre of Riga is offering the opportunity to have an insight into the Dutch Art Nouveau style. The exhibition has been organized in co-operation with the Dutch art historian and collector Frederick Erenc. This is a unique opportunity for the inhabitants and guests of Riga to discover the uniqueness of the Dutch Art Nouveau as the wonderful items exhibited – books, china, furniture and pieces of art, represent the features characteristic for the period such as the rationalist school, decorative Art Nouveau, Asian influence and other trends.
The exhibition is taking place in co-operation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Riga and H.E. Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Latvia Hendrik van den Dool.
On 3 and 4 July at 16.00 at the Riga Art Nouveau Museum everybody is welcome to attend the meeting with the Dutch art historian and collector Frederick Erenc to get better acquainted with the Dutch Art Nouveau heritage.
