Apartment house with shops – a typical example of early ornamentally decorative Art Nouveau. It located on a plot of land of complicated configuration. There is another building at Tirgoņu iela 4 (1900) in the manner of Art Nouveau located on the same plot of land. The façade of the building at Šķūņu iela 10/12 stands out due to especially saturated and luxurious ornamental motifs characteristic of Art Nouveau – plant motifs and masks, animal figures and hammered work.
