Architect: Konstantīns Pēkšēns
The building was rebuilt and is seen as one of the masterpieces of Art Nouveau in Riga. Structurally clear façade is unusually colourful both literally and figuratively. Its finish is made of various materials of different colours, whereas, its artistic composition boasts a variety of ornamental reliefs and sculptural details in the manner of Art Nouveau. The edge of each window opening of the second and third floor is different. A herma beneath the bay window is seen as the most beautiful image of a woman in Art Nouveau architecture in Riga. The finish of the façade that differs from the one of the approved project is made within the course of the construction works. Spacious window-cases of the first building are made in 1909 (architect P. Mandelstamm).
