Architect: Konstantīns Pēkšēns
Typical example of National Romanticism with restrained decorations of Latvian ethnographic motifs on the façades. The project was signed by architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns, though the language of the buildings designed by Augusts Malvess can be traced in the artistic image. The corner is highlighted by a cone-shaped tower, whereas the entrance – by a parabolic arch. Due to the shift of floors by a half-level in the wing on Ģertrūdes iela, it was possible to build an extra floor there by planning smaller apartments with lower ceiling.
