Architect: Edgars Voldemārs Frīzendorfs
Typical office building with several shops on the first floor. It was owned by Farmers’ Mutual Assistance Society of the Vidzeme governorate. The composition of strongly articulated façade in the manner of Perpendicular Art Nouveau includes modest, though rather expressive elements. Special attention should be paid to the entrance portal of dark granite with sculptural reliefs made by sculptor A. Volz. Currently, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia is located there.
