Apartment house with shops. It forms an Art Nouveau ensemble with a nearby building at Brīvības iela 103 (1914). Both buildings were a property of architect August Witte and were built to his designs. Space between the buildings forms an impressive opening in the confined built-up area. The building is designed in the manner of eclectic decorative Art Nouveau with rhythmically arranged Art Nouveau ornamental reliefs characteristic of eclectic manner in the finish of the façade. Another building at Brīvības iela 103 was designed in Neoclassic manner following the trends of the period.
