Architect: Konstantīns Pēkšēns
The building is located on a plot of land of a complicated configuration. Romantically stylised historical elements are added to an elegant Art Nouveau architecture – gables are of stylised Gothic shapes, whereas, an impressive corner tower – of the shape characteristic of Baroque. The tower is adorned with a weather vane in the shape of a bird. This is one of few examples of this detail that are manufactured in a symbolic manner of Art Nouveau – usually, weather vanes in Art Nouveau buildings were of traditional, mainly scrollwork, shape.
