Apartment house with shops fits in one of the most impressive Art Nouveau ensembles in Riga – built-up area in Brīvības iela, between Ģertrūdes iela and Stabu iela. Balanced composition of the façade with bay windows of various shapes represents refined Perpendicular Art Nouveau that is rather characteristic of works by Jānis Alksnis.
