The film focuses on the most striking value in the diverse architecture of the city, and that is Art Nouveau. It is difficult to find a street corner failing to provide a view on at least half a dozen or many more buildings designed in this style. Nowhere else in the world you can find such abundance. Art Nouveau is a fundamental value underlying inclusion of the historic centre of Riga on the World Heritage List in 1997.
